A Message from Dr. Crilly

The ECE department offers a B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) and Computer Engineering (CpE). Both degree programs are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Advising of students is an essential part of the student's program. During the freshman year, all students are advised through the Freshman Advising Center. After completion of the freshman year, they are then assigned an advisor in the department. Students are encouraged to plan ahead since many courses have prerequisites and most courses are only offered once or twice per year. The ECE Course Planning Guide link describes what and when ECE courses are offered. See the Advising Policies link for further information in Advising.

Scholarships are available in the department as well as the college and university. Contact the ECE department and the Dean of Academic Affairs in the College of Engineering for more information.
