All users of Department administered computers are bound by this policy.

Users (authorized and unauthorized) have no expectation of privacy, either explicit or implicit, in any materials they place or view on this system. The University complies with state and federal law regarding certain legally protected, confidential information, but makes no representation that any other uses of this system will be private or confidential.

Any or all uses of these systems and all files on these systems may be intercepted, monitored, recorded, copied, audited, inspected, and disclosed to authorized University and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized individuals of other organizations. By using these systems, a user consents to such interception, monitoring, recording, copying, auditing, inspection, and disclosure at the discretion of authorized University of Tennessee personnel.

Unauthorized or improper use of these systems may result in administrative disciplinary action and/or civil/criminal action. By continuing to use these systems a user indicates awareness of and consent to these terms and conditions of use.
