EECS/Ferris IT Help

Welcome to the IT-Support page for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in Ferris Hall. For IT assistance in EECS/Claxton Complex, please go to http://www.cs.utk.edu/~help.

We help students, staff, and faculty with various computer-related issues. We also work to enhance aspects of the department to ensure that it’s running smoothly for everyone. It is our hope to provide useful information here on the website.

If you are having technical problems with your computer, feel free to contact IT Support for help. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to offer training on how to use the different software packages employed by the department.

If you are experiencing an immediate problem, contact us directly, either by phone at 865-974-2735, or in person in Ferris Hall 417. This office and phone number are are staffed Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

For non emergencies, or when you experience problems after hours, you can email ITS at ithelp@ece.utk.edu. Members of ITS receive email from this address, and will respond during the hours of 8am and 5pm. ITS checks this email after hours, and will make an effort to take care of emergencies as soon as possible. Non-emergency issues will be handled during business hours.
