Teaching

Students

I am looking for 1 or 2 Ph.D. students to start in Fall 2010.   Students will be working on power-aware computer systems and computer architecture.  Preference will be given to candidates who already have Master degrees in related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Control Systems, etc).  Exceptional undergraduate students with considerable research experience may also be considered.  A prospective Ph.D. student is strongly encouraged to read at least one of my papers listed above and indicate in the email (1) which paper s/he has read and what the paper is about, (2) what s/he would like to do for doctoral research, and (3) how her/his proposed research relates to my current research.  Students with interesting research plans will be given the highest preference.   Successful candidates will receive full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend.

For more details about my research, please refer to the Power-Aware Computer Systems Laboratory web page.
